Research and Training Conference of Young Scientists “Innovative Approaches in Medical Science and Education”, dedicated to the Day of Science Workers in Kazakhstan

On April 17, 2026, the annual Research and Training Conference of Young Scientists dedicated to the Day of Science Workers in Kazakhstan was held at “Karaganda Medical University” NCJSC. The conference was conducted within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Congress “Multidisciplinary Approaches in Medicine: Integration into Clinical Practice, Science and Education”. The conference of young scientists aims to support young researchers and students and provides a platform for presenting their research results, exchanging experience, and discussing current issues in modern medicine and biology.

More than 120 young scientists from medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation participated in the conference.



The conference included a plenary session and 6 sections: “Clinical Medicine”, “Biomedicine”, “Preventive Medicine”, “Young Scientists”, “Poster Reports”, and “E-posters”.
At the plenary session, presentations were delivered by D.A. Klyuyev, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work at “Karaganda Medical University” NCJSC; S.V. Yegorov, Assistant Professor at the School of Sciences and Humanities, Nazarbayev University, Research Officer at McMaster University; and V.P. Riklefs, Vice-Rector for Strategy, Digitalization and Internationalization at “Karaganda Medical University” NCJSC. The presentations addressed fundamental and applied research challenges in medical science and education, as well as the importance of research in medicine.
Within the sections, young scientists presented 68 reports, 21 poster reports, and 45 E-posters. Participants discussed current issues in clinical medicine, biomedicine, and public health. All sessions were productive and impactful, with active discussion of the presented works.



At the closing ceremony of the conference, the results of the Competition of the best presentations were summarized:

Following the results of the "Clinical Medicine" session, the following individuals were awarded diplomas for the best presentations:
Diploma of the 1st degree – Dauren Bakhtiyaruly Yeskermessov
Diploma of the 2nd degree – Aidan Dauletovich Kimil
Diploma of the 3rd degree – Aruzhan Nurzhanovna Rakhimbayeva

Following the results of the "Biomedical Research" session, the following individuals were awarded diplomas for the best presentations:
Diploma of the 1st degree – Anastassia Andreyevna Khrustaleva
Diploma of the 2nd degree – Gulzhan Nurdoskyzy Serikberli
Diploma of the 3rd degree – Dariga Nurkassymovna Zhetpisbayeva



Following the results of the "Preventive Medicine" session, the following individuals were awarded diplomas for the best presentations:
Diploma of the 1st degree – Aida Bauyrzhankyzy Sabit, Ulzhan Beisenbaikyzy Sartbasova
Diploma of the 2nd degree – Aizhan Ardakovna Sultanbekova
Diploma of the 3rd degree – Ayaulym Medetovna Amantayeva

Following the results of the "Young Scientists" session, the following individuals were awarded diplomas for the best presentations:
Diploma of the 1st degree – Nazira Ruslanovna Alzhanova
Diploma of the 2nd degree – Elmira Yessengaliyeva
Diploma of the 3rd degree – Saniya Khan

Following the results of the "Poster Reports" session, the following individuals were awarded diplomas for the best presentations:
Diploma of the 1st degree – Zhanerke Miramgalikyzy Bolat
Diploma of the 2nd degree – Dinara Meiramovna Turebekova
Diploma of the 3rd degree – Kaisar Koblandyuly Toktassinov



Winners were awarded diplomas and certificates for free publication of one article in the “Medicine and Ecology” journal until the end of 2026. Second and third place winners received commemorative prizes. All participants received certificates of participation.
