For the Day of Science Workers, the I (intra-university) stage of the Republican annual competition of students’ research works (hereinafter – the SRWS competition) was held at “Karaganda Medical University” NCJSC from January 29 to April 21, 2026. Following the results of the I stage of the SRWS competition, the best works were awarded top places, selected, and submitted to the Republican stage of the competition:
Under to the educational program “Public Health”:
I place was taken by 3rd-year students –Inzhu Abdimaulen, Aruzhan Omarova with work “The impact of social media usage frequency on the mental health of medical faculty students”. Research adviser: Zh.E. Bolatova;
II place was taken by a 4th-year student –Iliyas Kassym with work “Individual medication regimen”. Research adviser: G.A. Zhanalina.
Under to the educational program “Medical and preventative care”:
I place was taken by a 2nd-year student –Indira Yessentayeva, with work “Students’ tendency toward self-treatment: primary reasons and factors”. Research adviser: Zh.E. Bolatova;
II place was taken by a 3rd-year student –Anna Minenko with work “Study of hygienic and social aspects of the sensory profile of children in Karaganda”. Research adviser: K.E. Nukeshtayeva;
III place was taken by 2nd-year students –Sabina Savriyeva, Leila Rashitova, Kristina Baybotchayeva with work “Assessment of knowledge and awareness of Karaganda Medical University’s students about antibiotic resistance”. Research adviser: G.S. Kayupova.
Under to the educational program “Technology of Pharmaceutical Production”:
I place was taken by a 4th-year student –Diana Kim with work “Development of the composition and technology for obtaining a protective regenerative cream based on lyophilized goat’s milk and sheep placenta hydrolysate”. Research adviser: G.A. Atazhanova.
Under to the educational program “Pharmacy”:
I place was taken by 2nd and 5th-year students –Shymyr Bazarbai, Nurgissa Imantai, Symbat Murat, Zhibek Yessenzholova with work “Research and molecular docking of a derivative of estafiatin”. Research adviser: A.S. Makhmutova.
Under to the educational program “General Medicine”:
I place was taken by 3rd and 4th-year students –Zhandos Yermagambetov, Amina Nurdilda with work “Assessment of self-treatment patterns, use of cognitive stimulants, and attitude toward immunoprophylaxis among medical students: a cross-cultural study”. Research adviser: G.K. Alshynbekova.
Under to the educational program “Dentistry”:
I place was taken by 3rd and 4th-year students –Meruyert Brimzhan, Daniil Schmidt, Ayaulym Suleimenova with work “Socio-age factors of nighttime visits to the maxillofacial surgery department: analysis of patient behavioral patterns”. Research adviser: A.T. Tokbergenova.
