June 4 the Day of the State Symbols Day of Republic of Kazakhstan.

On May 29, 2026, A.I. Ongarbayeva, Assistant Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social and Political Disciplines conducted an educational session with students of Group 1004 of the joint educational program “6B10117 – Medicine” dedicated to the State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan.Presentations were delivered by Mukhammedrasul Duysenbay, Viktor Gusmanov and Vladimir Botto who spoke about the history of the creation of the state symbols of the sovereign Kazakh state. They emphasized that June 4, 1992 became a historic date when the State Emblem, National Flag and National Anthem of independent Kazakhstan were officially adopted.
The speakers also noted that Kazakhstan’s national flag won the international online competition “Flags of the World” and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful national flags in the world.

State symbols are the principal attributes of sovereignty, reflecting the unique identity, cultural heritage, and historical development of Kazakhstan. They serve as the foundation for strengthening national identity and stand as enduring symbols of the country's territorial integrity and the unity of its people.
The educational session dedicated to State Symbols Day was aimed at fostering among young people a respectful and responsible attitude toward the state symbols of Kazakhstan, as well as cultivating patriotism and love for their homeland.
