Competition Results for Intra-University Grant Funding of Research Studies for 2026–2028

“Karaganda Medical University” NCJSC held a competition for intra-university grant funding of research studies for 2026–2028.
Between February 10 and March 6, 2026, a total of 21 applications were submitted to the competition. The applications were distributed across the following areas:
• New therapeutic targets in the treatment of malignant neoplasms – 2 applications;
• Applying artificial intelligence in education and medicine – 3 applications;
• Other areas in accordance with the priority areas of development of science in the Republic of Kazakhstan – 16 applications.
Between March 6 and March 20, 2026, technical evaluation of projects was carried out.
From March 20 to April 19, 19 projects were submitted for consideration to the Scientific Committee.
Applications that received an equal number of points were, in accordance with the Provision, additionally submitted for consideration at the Board meeting. The Board made the final decision on funding the presented projects, recognizing them as relevant, applied significance, and of practical interest to the university.
