From May 29 to 31, 2026, a set of scientific and educational events organized under the auspices of the Russian Dialysis Society (RDS) was held in Saint Petersburg (Russian Federation), including the 21st All-Russian Conference of the RDS, the 25th North-West Nephrology School, and the 27th International School-Seminar on Nephrology.

The event is one of the leading international platforms in nephrology, bringing together professionals involved in the issues of chronic kidney disease, renal replacement therapy, transplantation, and interdisciplinary interaction.

As part of the conference, a poster session competition was held, submitted following the results of preliminary reviewing and selection of abtracts. Only five poster presentations from a large number of applications were selected for the competition program.

Karaganda Medical University was represented by G.A. Iles, a first-year resident in the Adult and Pediatric Nephrology Residency Program, who presented her work in the topic of “IgG4 - Kidney-associated Disease: Clinical Case”. Scientific adviser: I.V. Bacheva, Associate Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine.

The research abstracts were accepted for publication in the scientific journal Nephrology and Dialysis, listed in the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI), and indexed in the Web of Science (Russian Science Citation Index).
